‘Oxidan’ to hit Iranian silver screens

Iranian film ‘Oxidan’ directed by Hamed Mohammadi has been scheduled to hit Iranian local cinemas this week.

‘Oxidan’ as well as ‘Slaughter House’ directed by Asghar Nasiri are set to welcome Iranian cinema fans on Wednesday, June 21.

Produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi and written by Hamed Mohammadi, ‘Oxidan’ is the title of Mohammadi’s latest work.

The poster of the film, designed by Rojan Iradji, had been unveiled a few days prior to its public screening in Iranian theaters.

“Knowing a simple visa issuance is such a hassle, Aslan would have never fallen in love,” ‘Oxidan’ synopsis reads.

The picture’s cast includes Javad Ezzati, Amir Jafari, Shabnam Moqaddami, Shaqayeq Dehqani, Reza Behboudi, Linda Kiani and Ali Ostadi.

Meanwhile, ‘Slaughter House’ follows the story of a man meeting a woman at a cafe and deciding to leave for the northern parts of Iran.
